Team Spirit Shines at Athletics Meet
¾µäÈý¼¶â€™s athletes delivered a series of outstanding performances at the recent athletics meet hosted by Stowe School, competing against some of the region’s top opposition in a vibrant and competitive setting.
Gold Medal Highlights:
- Christian (Vths) sprinted to gold in the 100m, setting a new personal best of 11.35 seconds. He also showed his versatility by claiming silver in the high jump.
- Dylan (Vths) dominated the jumps, securing gold in both the long jump (5.66m) and triple jump (12.23m), achieving personal bests in both events.
- Rufus (M) impressed in the 400m, crossing the finish line in a remarkable 55.24 seconds-a stunning seven-second improvement on his previous best.
- Thomas (Vths) powered to victory in the 200m with a swift 22.19 seconds.
- Scarlett (M) took gold in the 300m, demonstrating both speed and determination.
- Henry (L6) soared to first place in the high jump, rounding out a strong showing in the field events.
The team’s success extended beyond the medal winners. Jack (L6), Lucy (M), and Saoirse (M) all put in excellent performances, contributing valuable points and embodying the ¾µäÈý¼¶ spirit of commitment and camaraderie.
